Our story

Our story started almost 60 years ago when Felicia and Giacomo Biviano migrated to Australia and founded the family business in 1968, opening Fairfield Fruit Market.

This small retail outlet quickly became an integral part of the Fairfield community, as well as part of the fabric of the Biviano family, with Giacomo's son Domenic joining the business from a very young age. Eager to follow in his father’s footsteps, Domenic started to attend the Footscray Market with his father from the age of just 16.

Fast forward a few decades, and Domenic and his wife Erica’s drive and attention to the business rubbed off on their two sons John and Daniel, who like their father, started taking interest in the business from a young age.

The Fairfield store continued to grow and expand, establishing a good name for itself in the fresh produce scene of Melbourne. Taking another leap forward to the present, and it is truly more a family affair than ever, with Domenic's two daughters Elvira, Anita and son in law Jordan all having key roles and shared purpose.

With all these extra hands on deck, the Biviano family was able to grow the retail store Biviano and Sons in Fairfield, and expand into the thriving wholesale industry with the addition of Biviano Direct.

Now in our third generation with over 50+ years behind us and decades of knowledge and passion, we thought it was time to create something new.

This is how Biv’s Fruit Co. was founded. We believed that we should try and create amazing products with the incredible fresh produce we were already so familiar with.

We have teamed up with creative and talented people to create a wide range of wholesome and delicious juices, salads and breakfast bowls, all taste tested by us, because we only want to create what we know our own families would love and enjoy.
